Deducting money taken from me wrongfully from rent check

Please respond by emailing me the answer to this question. The park manager had me mail to him a check while I was away , claiming that I had to pay a tax on my carport, and shed. This is in a park where I own the mobile and rent the land. I now find out that they took the check to the Tax Collector and paid the park owners tax bill , not mine. the mail was for the park owner and addressed to the park owner. I ended up paying the owners tax for the months that I didnt even own the mobile. It wasnt even prorated. Since the park owner nor the Tax Collector will refund the money taken for me which was not my responsibility to pay or give-- should I deduct t
